Let's get this out of the way. The day of the event was freaky hot! I left at around 3pm, and man that A/C in the car felt really good.
This was the first event from Garage Keizo Street Machine Battle in Torrance. How was it? It was OK. Some girls from SpoCom and Purehotmodels sitting around under their canopies to get away from the heat. A lot of JDM and some good old fashion burgers and shakes. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it wasn't that great, so it just OK for a first try.
I just wish there was at least a go go dancer under one of the canopies or even a blow up doll right next to a car. That would've been really funny. Just because it was just all guys walking around, and that's the last thing I want to see. Get some promo girls by the side of the autos and give them an umbrella, and wham, your car is the hit of the party man!
Oh yea, some cops did come on the event grounds and walked around to check it out and left, one carrying a small bag from one of the vendors, that was pretty cool... then a few minutes later, two more cops came and I overheard them...
... we're looking for a male Filipino or Pacific-Islander...
what the. Man, half the guys here look Filipino I thought. They left pretty fast, I guess they either had to arrest everyone on suspicion or think of another way to find their suspect.
Didn't take a lot of model shots. This was the best one. You gotta click on the photo and search for the page it's on. It's nicer when it's blown up.
I rarely see privileged multiple parking spaces just for cops and fire fighters in Los Angeles. Must get a lot of customers from those two departments.
Oh wow! Audi turned Japanese! Right. This really hot looking Audi was parked right next to the show cars, in the general parking section. I couldn't take my eyes off it, because.... it's so sweet!
