September 2008 Toyota Speedway Dubfest pictures here!

I knew I entered a different world when I drove into the Toyota Speedway parking lot. It was full of euro trash... I mean cars. I'm joking man. But it was kinda weird to see row upon row of the same Volkswagens, the only difference being the colors.

Just for a moment, it felt like I had just entered a VW dealership.

Row upon row a fleet of Volkswagens, Audi and BMWs... my god, the parking lot was full of euro cars, and every one of them was upon me.

So with trepidation, I paid my 20 bucks and entered this new world. I got some nachos and ate while drinking my sprite. Good stuff. The weather was pretty hot though.

Here's the pictures I took. Primarily used my ultra wide lens. It hasn't been used in months, so I figured there wouldn't be a lot of hot models at this event... and I was right. I used my ultra wide lens to get those weird distortions. Some of the cars just pop out. It's pretty sweet.

Not much models at the car show. I got a picture of Eri Moriyama. I'm crying now... because I saw the pictures from her birthday party in Flickr, and man, I'm sad because I wasn't there.

I was told Sunisa Kim was at the event, but I guess she left. That sucked. Wanted to get more pictures of her! There was another model representing Dubfest, but she was busy calling off the raffle numbers, and it was hot!

Had to buy a bottle of water and take a rest. Did I say it was hot? When I got back to the car, it said 95 degrees outside. Damn that's hot.

Drove to El Tarasco and ate two chicken tacos and brought two home for tomorrow.

Now that's all right!

The day had a clear blue sky. The sun fried everyone's skin. God help the poor bastards without sunscreen, the people not wearing a hat or people without the cash to buy water.
