Sweet Lowriders - low rides!
Wow. How low can you go? Well, the owners of these two beauties think really low... very low... that is a low ride...!
Something about classic American cars converted to lowriders scream classic. Paint jobs are often slick. Hell, more than that, the lowrider crowd have basically revived the classic look and created a new art form on wheels.

Los Angeles Auto Show Event Photo Posted!
Just posted 9 pages of automobiles from the Los Angeles Auto Show. Used my new ultra wide lens, and man, its really nice. Still learning the characteristics of the lens, but it was fun shooting today.
All pictures - all cars.
Saw some models, probably no more than 4 models throughout the show, and they didn't behave like they were having fun. It was all business, it seemed. This wasn't your typical import show like Hot Import Nights or even the DUB tour. No bikini clad big boob or ass humping woman gyrating their thang accompanied by thunderous music in the background.
No sirree. This was business.
Walked around the show, and left. The main show was OK, kinda sucked to take pictures, with crowds coming in-and-out of the cars and blocking your lens, so I didn't. The luxury cars were damn nice.

OC Auto Show YouTube Videos
God Damn KamDam! You took some great videos of the OC Auto Show! I like it. Better than the crap videos you see most of the time with the awful music and quick transitions.
All I want to see are the cars and the girls. One out of the two ain't bad.

What can I say after taking photos of this Lamborghini? Not much. So I had to find a an Italian poet from the 1300s to describe my thoughts. Man, this "is" the car that gives hope and joy to any guy that wants to experience heaven.... the second best thing to heaven, in any case.
Did you see that...?! The last photo I took! She's looking at me! No, seriously! With those big black eyes looking at me in that seductive, "Come get me" slither look.

A new trend to cancel Import Shows?
Just last week Funkmaster Flex/Extreme Autofest was cancelled for some reason at the Pomona Fairplex, a few days before the event was going to happen. I haven't been able to get any kind of comment from anyone involved in the matter. So I'm guessing there's legal issues involved in the matter. I smell law suit suckers!
Now just got word that NOPI Chicago event in Toyota Park was just cancelled. Here's the cancellation announcement posted at the NOPI page. Again, the show was cancelled a few days before the event. If I was paranoid, I'd smell a conspiracy here. Good to know that NOPI dudes are getting their lawyers involved.
Both event organizers must have lost thousands of dollars in initial costs. Plus everyone else who bought their tickets, planned in advance for those days, and the starving photographers who missed out on the hot shexy babaes! Boo! Hoo!
Wonder if the Hot Import Nights event in downtown Los Angeles will be cancelled days before it begins, or the Dub show in October. Paranoia is insidious, like a worm burrowing its way into your brain, slowing eating away at you until you go insane.
