You know at that new event in Long Beach - SpoCom. They had free NOS and stuff... ya know? Free drunks...drinks! Of course, the NOS girls handing out the fizz were hot.

The reason why most of you go to SpoCom is for the imports, and there was tons of that. I should have taken more pictures of the cars, eh? I'll try to come early this year and start with the car show before starting on the import models... hopefully, but it's so... hard.

May 3 Toyota Fest Event Photo Album Created!

The Toyota Fest in Long Beach today was pretty cool. Unlike the HIN - Hot Import Nights show in downtown Los Angeles on March of this year, where I took a majority of hot import model pictures - this time, a big chunk of the photos I took at the Toyota Fest were cars! Used my ultra wide lens and see for yourself the pictures I took with it. There's a punch to them... and a bit of deformed images - you'll notice it when you see some cars bending unnaturally or long faced import models, but they're hot! The photos I took of the import models were super cute!

The day was hot, the drive to the show was a breeze, the highway was almost empty, and the parking was free! Free parking dude! I'm going next year! Some guys at a Toyota sponsored Internet forum called Heya Project were giving out free ice cream - even sweeter! Got one before they ran out - sweetness! Took a pamphlet, it's in my bag somewhere, should I even read it? Other than the free ice cream, do I really care....? No. Thanks for the free ice cream dudes!

SpoCom Long Beach Import Show Coming June 22

I'm a bit early posting an article on the SpoCom event in Long Beach but why not? I just got an email from the guys. Pretty slick flyer. Here's some quick details - $12 bucks presale tickets, $15 dollars on the day of the event. This is bloody hell cheap dude! Man, compare this with HIN shows or god forbid the Toyota Grand Prix and the Formula Drift events, this is a steal.

Models - models - models - what you have here are some of the hottest models in the import tuner world! The WOrld people! Who'll be there? List!

Honey Cruz, Jenny Chu, Jert Lee, KT So, Lisa Fleming, Miss Genna, Nina Kay, Sasha Singleton, Kathy Lee, Sanisa Kim, ah shit, I can't read the names for the other models. Like I knew their names, hahahaha. Hell dudes, the most I know are 3 or 4 names and 2 to 3 of the names I can connect with an import models face.

Man, where the hell is Christine Mendoza? That sucks man. Beggars can't be choosers - if it's going to be like last year. There's going to be some hot sexy import model contests - bikini contests! Fashion show? I think so. Also a big ass booth where the models will hang out to sign their autographs and sell their professional photos. Yea, if you're into the sex in the sexy models this is where you will hang out taking your snaps.

NOS is a sponsor so it looks like the NOS chicks will be there. What else? More free NOS drinks!

Am I excited? YEa, the SpoCom show looks like another good show. Just please don't turn down the lights so low that it makes it hard for guys with cameras to focus! Last year was pretty good, didn't have much problems with the lights, just saying man.

High End Performance Grand Opening and lumpia

Camarillo, where? Near Oxnard, damn. Google maps says one hour and 40 minutes...

..... man, it only took me 40 minutes to get here with no traffic. Time to eat!

That's all I did... man I was hungry. Went straight to the grill. Got a burger and hot dog. Then another hot dog, then another. Hey man! It's all free! I love grand openings!

Then I found the Filipino food at the room next to the main office! Yea - got a bowl of lumpia, then went back for more. I ate a lot.

I was feeling kinda sick with a full stomach, so I watched the volleyball game going on. Then I went back for more lumpia.

I started taking pictures, kinda felt like an import show. Been a while since I ate lumpia, even when I was on vacation, I didn't have lumpia.

The lumpia was good. Why don't more import shows have lumpia? Tons of Filipinos going to these events as owners and attendees, and yet no Filipino food. Whats with that? I mean ca'mon, everyone loves lumpia and its portable! There could be a balut eating contest! Get some lechon kawali and the sauce.... hell, someone can bring over Andoks from the Philippines and I swear that place will be packed.... don't get me started when I tasted Bacolod chicken inasal... ahhhhhhhh...

Thoughts before going to the Los Angeles HIN event

I always get a kick when I see some personalization. You know, like when you truly see the personality of the driver come out by way of a picture or some other crap that can they can truly say - this is me! For some reason they expose themselves!

Ugh, yea.... something like that. But you got to be straight, you dig? You dig?!

And then someone puts something like this, and its good. The pecker says what? Peck peck? But But.....

Then you take a drink, and ya know what hard core guys drink? You got it, Lipton Pure Leaf Ice Tea. Drink! Drink up!

But you could take your katana stowed away right next to your legs and swing that samurai sword at the fools that make fun of you.

Then after you finish your deadly dead, you think philosophically over life, the world, and religion. You think.... what would Jun say?

And you get that insight straight from your head... and you know what it's all about, who do you love? What you need...

It's all about the monster, that big fat purple monster trying to get out of the hood. Hey man! It has Vitamin B! All energy!
